Exploring KL

Hi again!

We landed safely in Kuala Lumpur Airport around midday with a much smoother landing than in Qatar. After changing our money we caught the bus to our 'hotel' where we are staying for the next two nights. The rooms are very basic but have bunk beds (with no ladders) - whoo!

We settled down and then went out to find some dinner. We stopped at a local outdoor Chinese where most of us discovered that we're useless at using chopsticks. This cost us just 1.17 GBP each! We then made our way back to our hotel via the night market where we tried some deliciously strange fruit that we purchased for our breakfast tomorrow morning.

We also visited a small Hindu temple which was quite sticky on the feet because we weren't allowed to wear shoes inside.

Tomorrow we have got lots of jobs to do around KL before departing to our first project phase the following day.

Keeping you posted,
